Praia do Homem do Leme

Located in Porto, it is one of the most iconic beaches in the city and in the North of Portugal, known for the bronze statue at the entrance that pays homage to the brave fishermen, the men without fear of the rudder. A beautiful landscape is built from the immense sea and sand, giving an interpretation to the high rocks and thick sand, depending on the waves and peace of the seasons.

Beach with a family emphasis, offering two playgrounds, a walkway and several restaurants nearby. It has good support services, a Blue Flag and is accessible to everyone.

Visitors should notice that Praia do Molhe is a short walk away and worth a visit, being a rocky area between the tides and the pier. Here, you can find Pérgola da Foz and see or photograph the typical coastal landscape illustrated in many postcards of Porto.
