This vintage tram, with its polished wooden interiors, takes you on a charming journey along the scenic Douro River. Here’s what you need to know:
Route & Stops: Tram 1 runs along the northern bank of the Douro, from Infante (near the Ribeira district) to Passeio Alegre in Foz do Douro. Along the way, it passes several places of interest, including the World of Discoveries, Porto Legends, and the Transport & Communications museums in Alfândega.
Longest Line: Tram 1 boasts the longest route on the network, making it perfect for leisurely sightseeing.
Fares & Timetable: Single journey: €3.50 or €6 for 2 trips. 2-day pass: €10 (available onboard or at the Tram Museum).
Trams run approximately every 20 minutes from 9 am to 7:35 pm.
